Paragonah Town can provide the following assistance to all residents and is dedicated to helping protect the health, safety and welfare of both people and animals in our community.

• Investigating dangerous animals- Please contact Parowan Police Dispatch (435) 586-9445
• Carcass removal- Please call Division Wildlife Resources (DWR) to arrange removal (435) 865-6100
• All dogs within Paragonah Town limits are required to have a license and updated rabies vaccine. Please see application for dog license under applications for licenses and permits.
• Dogs "Running at large" is prohibited.  A dog shall not be deemed at large if it is on a leash, chain, cable, cord, or other humane restraining system.  Grasping a collar shall not be construed as under control.  A violation of this section shall be a Class C misdemeanor and as such is hereby declared to be a nuisance.  Each day the violation continues to exist shall constitute a separate offense. 
• All tethers shall be ten feet or longer.   All tethered dogs shall be provided sufficient fresh water and a weatherproof structure.
